TBoI: Rebirth EVEN MORE new enemies.

Description

So here's EVEN MORE new enemy ideas for The Binding of Isaac Rebirth. Unfortunately I fear some of these characters don't look all that much like something that would be in the game, it can be a little hard to try and make something in a similar style to other people. Another problem is that I decided to show some of their animations but unfortunately that meant they all had to be synchronised in the same number of frames (6 by the way) so some the animations may seem a little too fast. But none-the-less these problems didn't stop me from making even more ideas because honestly this is just so fun to do. So without further postponing here're the descriptions for these guys.

Enemy 1.) Lenticuguard.
At the top of the sprite sheet is the Lenticuguard, a lumbering behemoth found only in Necropolis. And when I say ONLY found in Necropolis I literally mean only, so no Depths or Dank Depths. They don't move on foot and instead attack by leaping in the air slightly & attempting to land on the player's position. If they get in good range of Isaac they ready and swipe their swords which deal a full heart of damage as well as summon a ring of Brimstone around them similar to when you combine Ludovico Technique and Brimstone. This ring expands outwards a little similar to the effect of Lump Of Coal before reverting back to the centre where the Lenticuguard is. The Lenticuguard repeats this attack method for the most part. If however he is left too long without attacking with his sword or takes too much damage he aggravates, clicks his fingers (turning them purple tinted briefly) and summons a Black Bony. Lenticuguards have a whopping 160 HP and when killed they leave behind bones and black tinted blood. Lastly I decided to give these guys a noble pose when defeated, it's the one 3rd to the right.

Enemy 2.) Pyre.
Underneath the Lenticuguard, left of the sprite sheet, is the Pyre. These guys have 60 HP, making them rather tanky, and are found in Burning Basement, Cellar and Sheol. Pyres consist of a pile of burning bodies with firewood around them. They are completely stationary but upon seeing the player they shoot fires at him. These fires can be put out with tears though this means they can block shots. When killed Pyres spawn 2-3 Flamming Gapers.

Enemy 3.) Toy.
Toys are child sized, brown teddy bears with disturbing grins on their faces (though to some people it may look like a troll face, but it's not like that's something new, am I right Envy?). They attack by moving incredibly fast towards the player, at the speed of Lust. However, they only move when the player moves. Shooting doesn't enable Toys to move. Despite this however, Toys can still pose a threat as they occasionally shoot a blood shot at Isaac, forcing him to move out of the way. I also decided to give Toys a more monster-like feel by giving them a missing left arm, if you look carefully at their body sprites. Toys are found in The Basement, Cellar, Burning Basement (on those floors they're only found singularly to ease the difficulty), Flooded Caves and The Chest. Toys have 30 HP.

Enemy 4.) Jilted.
So that small, floating grey thing underneath the Pyre is called the Jilted (or you can just call it "Jilt"). These guys are rare, only found in The Caves, Catacombs and Flooded Caves. They also have a 10% chance to spawn out of a destroyed Tinted Rock. They attack by slowly floating towards Isaac. They destroy any rocks in their path. While pursuing the player they spit grey tinted projectiles that suck Isaac towards them like Purple Champions. This can make Jilteds rather nasty if the player has low speed. Jilteds have 40 Hp and when killed they have a 30% chance to drop a Spirit Heart. Originally I was going to call them Conjures seeing how they can be summoned from Tinted Rocks and the fact that they are essentially golems which, in most media anyway, are "conjured".

Enemy 5.) Greed Gauss.
In the centre of the Sprite sheet is what-appears-to-be a type of gun or at least a weapon. Well yes, that is in fact correct if you thought that. Greed Gausses vary in difficulty depending on your currency. They attack by turning towards the player and shooting yellow Brimstone lasers at you. These yellow lasers don't damage you but instead rapidly steel your money by 1 Coin per 1/4 second. If Greed Gausses manage to steel at minimum 5 Coins then they'll shine red and fire 3 spread out "actual" Brimstone lasers which DO inflict damage on you. They turn towards you as they fire the proper Brimstone which makes them all the more difficult to dodge. Afterwards they turn yellow again and have to steel 5 more Coins off you on order to use that attack again. If the player has no money at all then the only harm these things can do is contact damage. On normal and hard mode they're only found in Sheol and The Chest in lay-outs where Greed is involved, rarely 1 can even spawn with Greed in a normal mini-boss room. On Greed mode however they can be found on the Shop floor and also in the small boss room on the Ultra Greed floor right before Ultra Greed himself. Greed Gausses have 40 HP and when killed they drop all the coins they managed to steel from you (if any) along side 3-4 extra Coins. Lastly they were inspired by the "Gaster Blasters" from Undertale, if you don't know what I'm talking about then fair enough.

Enemy 6.) Chorister.
In the bottom left corner of the sprite sheet is the Chorister. These guys are only found in the Cathedral and have 68 HP. They attack by speedily chasing after the player. On occasion all Choristers in the room will slow down slightly and start singing heavenly. While singing a Godhead-like aurora surrounds them, damaging Isaac if he walks in as well as magnetising his tears away from the Chorister in the centre. After a while they stop singing and revert back to their normal speed. In lay-outs with narrow path ways or a whole bunch of Choristers the situation can become very intense as a lot of dodge escape space can be taken up by their auroras.

Enemy 7.) Burr.
The dark green stalk thing wiggling below the Greed Guass is the Burr. Burrs are spiky plant enemies completely stationary to the ground. They act as turrets and fire 2 spike-like projectiles in random directions every second. These projectiles have their own texture (seen right of the Burr) and travel at great range but at really low speed, making them relatively easy to dodge. Burrs have 34 HP and are found in The Caves, Catacombs and Flooded Caves.

Enemy 8.) Cult Sentry.
(Exactly right next to the Burr) Cult Sentries are stationary hazards found in Sheol. If Isaac lines up either horizontally or vertically to them then they'll shoot a Brimstone laser with only a split second of warning. They disappear when the room is cleared of enemies as they themselves are invulnerable.

Enemy 9.) Church Sentry.
(Directly below the Cult Sentry) Church Sentries are basically angelic versions of the Cult Sentry found in The Cathedral instead. Rather than firing Brimstone they fire beams of light similar to the ones Uriel and Gabriel use. Church Sentries are there-for slightly easier to dodge because their projectiles are thinner.

Lastly I decided the put in a blank copy of the humanoid model, mainly for future sakes if I ever decide to do more humanoid characters and enemy for this game.

Now for some links, here's the first custom enemy sprite sheet that I did:

And here's a link to the second one I did:

(SUDDENLY, a future edit containing a link to a 4th one I did):

(Future edit: these enemies are reserved for a mod all ready, sorry another mod creators who may want these enemy designs)
